Dr. Susan Osada started life in the midwest, born in Iowa, then moved to Nebraska shortly thereafter. From an early age she knew she wanted to be a doctor. In 1985, her family made the move from Nebraska to Asheville, NC. She was very active in running all her life. She was also involved in dance, swim, and gymnastics. Due to the demands placed on her body at such a young age, she started going to the chiropractor at age 13. It helped with many injuries and helped her whole body.
She started college at NCSU where she studied for 2 1/2 years to earn the required pre-requisites for chiropractic school. After her freshman year is when she decided to pursue a career in chiropractic. She then attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis. She has practiced chiropractic for 28 years with a subspecialty in nutrition and whole body health. She has a longstanding interest and passion in identifying the root cause of health concerns and preventive care by adjusting the spine to allow the nervous system to communicate to all system effectively.
In her leisure time she loves spending time with her sons, family and friends, playing her musical instruments, horseback riding, gardening, cooking, camping and hiking, and doing yoga.
