Inspire Chiropractic and Wellness – Dr. Megan Wilson
Dr. Megan grew up in Powder Springs, GA, just minutes away from the greatest chiropractic school in the country. This is no coincidence, as she grew up in a chiropractic home. Her father and older sister both graduated from Life University and inspired Dr. Megan from a young age to help change lives through chiropractic care.
Dr. Megan first attended Life University School of Undergraduate Studies and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology, graduating Salutatorian of her class. She then went on to attend Life University’s Chiropractic Program. During her time at Life, Dr. Megan focused her studies on family care. Alongside her future husband and chiropractic partner, she completed an additional 135 post-graduate hours in Maternal and Pediatric Chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She was very involved on campus, being the treasurer of the Neurology Club, a cheerleader for Life University’s nationally ranked basketball team, and co-chair on the graduation committee.
Upon obtaining her Doctorate in Chiropractic, Dr. Megan continued serving the community alongside her husband, Dr. Dan, at Fieldhouse Wellness Center, in Malvern, PA. Her role soon changed as she and Dr. Dan began to grow a family. Dr. Megan decided to step away from her professional career to be a stay at home wife and mother. Between 2011 and 2016, Dr. Megan successfully had three home births, and she attributes having such enjoyable, healthy pregnancies and deliveries to the chiropractic care she received during pregnancy and even during labor. Being a mother has exponentially multiplied Dr. Megan’s passion for maternal and pediatric chiropractic care. She has gotten to see firsthand how incredibly powerful chiropractic is, and it is her goal to see women change any negative perception of pregnancy and labor they may have to a positive one through chiropractic.
Dr. Megan is eager to jump back into the office and begin serving families in her community again alongside her husband, Dr. Dan. Aside from chiropractic she enjoys raising her three young children and caring for her family, scrapbooking, photography, musical theatre, event planning, and being an active member of her church where she serves on the production team.
